Catherine Anderson is CEO of The Jo Cox Foundation, a charity working to build a positive legacy for the late Jo Cox MP. She joined the Foundation in September 2018 after eight years in parliament as Chief of Staff to Rory Stewart. As a founding director and ambassador for 50:50 Parliament and an active member of Women2Win, Catherine is passionate about supporting women in public life.
In 2014 Catherine founded The Angus McDonald Trust, a health and welfare charity working in Myanmar, for which she was awarded a Point of Light by the Prime Minister, and previously established a NGO in the Tibetan refugee community in the Indian Himalayas. She a published author and political commentator, and has written for The Guardian, The Telegraph, Progress, Metro, Huffington Post, and many more.
